Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteers play a major role in Avocet Care & Support and giving your time as a Volunteer can be one of the most satisfying ways of making a difference to other people’s lives.
Becoming a Volunteer with us will be a rewarding experience as there are many ways in which you can make a difference to the daily lives of Residents – from providing much-needed companionship to getting involved activities, or even becoming a Trustee.
The application process is straightforward. Please contact our Head Office on 01702 213350/info@avocetsupport.com and one of our team will be happy to take you through the process
Once we have received your formal application we will invite you to a meeting with a named mentor, who will explain how the charity operates and what is involved in your chosen role. We will also take up 2 references plus a Disclosure & Barring Service check. Once we have received these your work as a Volunteer can begin.
