Activities
Life at Avocet is not just about providing care, support and accommodation. We appreciate how important it is for our Residents to retain freedom and independence whilst enjoying life to the full.
Our residential care home St George’s House has a dedicated Activity Coordinator who delivers a program of activities weekly to provide activity and stimulation for our residents. Activities range from quizzes, arts & crafts and cooking to gardening and attending local events. We also encourage those still able to do so to participate in community activity independently.
Our sheltered housing tenants are encouraged to maintain their community links also however we do provide weekly Zumba and Yoga sessions in house for those who wish to participate.
